Chicago Auto Show 2015

Over the weekend, I visited the Chicago Auto Show with my father-in-law, and my 6-year old son. A few cars stood out to me…the new Ford GT, the (new?) Acura NSX, the Toyota FT-1 concept, the Porsche 918 Spyder, and the Nissan GT-R LM Nismo that will be competing at Le Mans later this year.

Of course, those are all cars which have, or will have when available, six figure price tags. The rest of the modern cars were fairly ho-hum, with nothing REALLY jumping out at me. The coolest, most interesting cars at the show…a pair of 40+ year old classics…a 1967 Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale and a Toyota 2000GT. While a modern Toyota Camry may out perform them, there is nothing quite like either of them on the road today…especially the Alfa Romeo, which is basically sex on wheels.

I traveled light at the Chicago Auto Show, only carrying my iPhone 5S. All photos were edited with VSCOcam or Instagram.
