I went out fishing this morning, and it was a gorgeous early-October morning. I hooked a trio of Largemouth Bass on my brand new St. Croix Mojo Bass casting rod and Abu Garcia REVO4 SX reel.
All three Largemouth were caught on a bluegill Strike King Tour Grade Wim Jig, with a watermelon red flake YUM Christie Craw trailer. The first Largemouth was the nicest, the biggest I’ve pulled out of this lake, definitely my personal best to date. I’d estimate the fish was roughly 20-21 inches in length, and probably 2.5 lbs. or so.
The second and third Largemouth were smaller, and more typical of what I usually pull out of this lake…roughly 15-16 inches in length, and a bit over a pound or so in weight.
