Gordon Ramsey’s Scrambled Eggs

Scrambled eggs are simple to make. But making good scrambled eggs, that is not so simple. This Gordon Ramsey recipe for scrambled eggs is one of, if not my favorite. The flavor and texture of these eggs, especially when topping a slice of good sourdough bread (and some Sriracha hot sauce), make the simple scrambled egg something so much more.

I’ve included a recipe for Gordon Ramsey’s eggs below…but watch the video instead. Just trust me on this, you’ll get more out of watching the video, than you will from reading the recipe below.

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • Pinch of pepper
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 Tbsp creme fraiche (or sour cream, greek yogurt)

Instructions

  1. Turn stovetop on to medium/high heat.
  2. Crack open 3 eggs into cold pan and add butter.
  3. Place cold pan over heat and continuously stir. Once eggs slightly solidify, remove from heat for 30 seconds continuously stirring. Return to heat for 30 seconds continuously stirring, remove from heat for 30 seconds (still stirring), and repeat process until eggs have mostly solidified.
  4. Remove from heat for the last time and add creme friache, combine, and finish by seasoning with salt and pepper
