It took 7 years, 11 months, & 24 days…2918 days in total…to reach 100,000 miles on my Clubman.
At a few points over the past 18 months, I wasn’t sure if she was going to make it. Along the way, there have certainly been more headaches than my 2003 MINI Cooper S (I still miss that car) ever gave me.
I don’t know how much longer I will be a MINI owner, but for now, a few stats my MINI has put up over the past 100,000 miles and nearly 8 years…
- Average MPG: 27.73
- 3,615 gallons of gasoline used, at an average of $3.44/gallon
- Driving an average of 34.3 miles/day
- An average operating cost of $0.12/mile
- 17 oil changes…roughly every 5900 miles
- 4 sets of tires (including OEM run-flats), 1 set of winter tires
- 2 full brake services…pads, rotors, brake bleed
- Replaced OEM struts/shocks with Koni Yellows
- Replaced OEM control arm bushings & ball joints
- 1 new battery
- 8 ignition coils
- 1 new ECM (ugh, yeah that was awesome)
